STC-NMU : First group of participants start Master Shipping and Transport March 2008

On March 17th 2008 the first group of international participants started the Master Shipping and Transport program in Gwangyang, Korea. The group consists of a variety of Nationalities; Korean, Omani, Bangladeshi, Indonesian, Zambian and Guinean.

The participants have different backgrounds in the shipping and transport industry, which will contribute the diversity and interdisciplinairity. In their daily job people are working as;

- Traffic Manager at Port Authority

- Port Operation Manager at Container Terminal Authority

- Port Captain

- Freight Forwarder and Customs Clearing Agent

- CEO of Bulk Truck and Shipping company

- Second Officer, Second Engineer and Deck Officer at major shipping company

- Strategy Planner at Port Authority

- Shipping Agent

- Vessel, Yard and Equipment Planer at Port Authority

- Gwangyang City Hall, General Affairs

- Civil Engineer

- Vendor Management Coordinator

- Flight Control Officer

- (Maritime) English Lecturer
