New Name: Wittenborg Business & Language School

From 1 June 2008, Hogeschool Wittenborg will be called Wittenborg Business & Language School, in English. Hogeschool Wittenborg remains the schools official name in Dutch.
Hogeschool Wittenborg will no longer use the name Wittenborg University of Professional Education, in line with a request from the Ministry of Education. The Ministry has requested that all HBO’s use the name University of Applied Sciences, instead. As this name does not suit Wittenborg’s size, or focus, it has been decided to use the name Business & Language School.
